Sydney City 2 Surf 2025

Sydney hosted the 55th City2Surf on 10 August 2025. The race began at 7:35 a.m. for competitive runners, with fun-runners setting off at 7:40 a.m. The event sold out, recording 90,000 registered participants

The 14-kilometre route begins at Hyde Park at College and Park streets.

  • Down William Street

  • Heading through the Kings Cross Tunnel towards Rose Bay

  • Run up “Heartbreak Hill”

  • Head north to Vaucluse

  • Head south through Dover Heights

  • Cross the finish line on Queen Elizabeth Drive at Bondi
